Here comes one of the best classic/ comedy movies played by other than Jim Carrey. Back Then Jim Carrey was one of the big names at the time Two movies Ace Ventura and The Mask Both performed well at the Box Office which made hype around this film also. The Story of this movie follows Lioyd(Played By Jim Carrey) who is a limo driver.
One Day when he drives a passenger Mary Swanson( Played By Lauren Swanson) to the airport. Unfortunately, She left her briefcase at the terminal, Lloyd sees as it an opportunity to return it to her, but he doesn’t except that that it is a ransom payment intended for kidnappers holding her husband hostage.
LIoyd convenience his roommate Harry( Played By Jeff Daniels) to accompany him on a cross-country road trip from Providence, Rhode Island, to Aspen, Colorado to return the briefcase.Along All The Way The Have Encounters series of misadventures like killing their parakeet to spending their dwindling funds unwisely.
After the success of the first movie, In 2003 the prequel of this movie was released in the theatre and criticized at the box office. It lacks the enchantment of the original primary absence of Carrey and Daniels who have extraordinary talent that could have elevated the rather average script.
This movie’s story starts in the 1980s, introducing us to Harry Dunne(Derek Richardson) and Lloyd Christmas( Played By Eric Christian Olsen). During Their teenage years, Harry was homeschooled by his overprotective mother, while LIyod, Janitor’s adopted son, lived in a High school basement. Their paths cross when Harry’s mother decides it is time for him to experience high school.
Meanwhile, Principal Collins(Played By Eugene Levy) creates a plan to misappropriate money from the school by creating a fake “special class” and diverting the money. After that, he sees Harry and LIyod as the perfect candidates for this scam. They are completely oblivious to Collins’s true Intentions and without any hesitation they join the class, thinking it’s a great opportunity.
Throughout the movie, Harry and Lloyd face various obstacles and challenges in high school, including bullies and attempts to impress the girls they like. They, unfortunately, foil Principal Collins’s plans through a series of misadventures and dumb luck.
Here comes the third installment and the sequel to (Dumb and Dumber 1994) Featuring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprising their roles 20 years after the event of the first film. The story of this movie starts with LIyod having spent two decades in a mental institution, pretending to be catatonic as a fool on Harry. Later when Harry finds out the truth, they resume their friendship as if no time has passed.
Harry told LIyod that he needed a kidney transplant, and shortly they discovered that Harry had a long-lost daughter named Penny( Played By Rachel Melvin) who was put up for adoption by his ex-girlfriend Fraida Felcher( Played ByKathleen Turner).In the hope, that Penny Might Be willing to Donate a kidney, they embark on a cross-country road trip.
